2024 Foundation Tractor Drive! ​

Thank you to all the drivers and sponsors who made this year's Foundation Tractor Drive a raving success! Enjoy these moments throughout the day! The DeWitt County Young Leader group worked so hard to organize this event! We look forward to next year! ​

2022 DeWitt County Farm Bureau Tractor Drive Album 

Thank you to everyone who was able to come and join us! The weather tried to literally rain on our parade this year, but thankfully we were able to make it still happen! We truly had an amazing day! The money that was raised will be going towards our growing Ag in the Classroom program and scholarship foundation to help fund the future of our local agriculture industry by assisting students studying agriculture or ag-related trade.

2022 DeWitt County Farm Bureau Tractor Drive

WHEN: Saturday, August 20th, 2022; Registration at 9:30 a.m., Parade at 3p.m., Drivers Meeting at 10;30 a.m.; Take-off at 12:00 noon.
WHERE: The route will begin and end near the Waynesville Legion in Waynesville, IL and will travel along the country side. 
WHO: Drivers ages 16 & up with valid drivers' license. ATVs are welcome as well! MUST DRIVE AT LEAST 10 MPH. 
COST: 
Cost for the drive is $35, which includes dinner and rest-stop snacks for driver. Extra dinner tickets for riders (which are allowed with proper seating only) may be purchased on-site. Drivers' entry also includes a souvenir photo.
WHY: Proceeds fund the Foundation's Tractor Drive Scholarship. The Foundation supports the future of our local agriculture industry by assisting students studying agriculture or ag-related trade.
For the scholarship, first preference is given to DeWitt County students studying mechanics, welding, electrical and other trades. If no candidate meeting such criteria is available, students studying a general agriculture field are eligible. Interested candidates may apply in early spring 2022.

WHEN: Saturday, September 11; Registration at 9:30 a.m., Parade at 10:30 a.m., Driver's Meeting at 11:00 a.m.; Take-off at 12:00 noon.

WHERE: The route will begin and end near the Farmers Grain Elevator in Kenney, IL, and travel near Salt Creek.

WHO: Drivers ages 16 & up with valid drivers' license. ATVs are welcome as well!

Congratulations John Koopman of Weldon for being selected as the Tractor Drive Scholarship recipient!
John graduated from Monticello High School in May of 2020, and will be attending Lake Land College. His career goal is to work for a tractor dealership as a mechanic in central Illinois.
