EPIC Teacher Giveaway!
Calling all DeWitt County!
Piatt and DeWitt County are excited to collaborate to host an EPIC Teacher Giveaway for all our amazing teachers in both counties! We are asking you, as our members to nominate your favorite teacher! Who is that special teacher who helped you become a stronger reader? Who was that one teacher who left a lasting impact on your life? We want to know and send them our EPIC Teacher Giveaway to show just a small token of our appreciation for everything that our teachers do that impact our lives and help us to become the best versions of ourselves!
Nominations close on Monday, December 20th at noon. Winner will be announced that day with prize presentation to take place later that week! Let’s show our teachers some love, DeWitt County!
LET'S GIVE A WARM WELCOME TO...
Dewitt and Piatt County's newly shared Ag in the Classroom Coordinator! We are so excited to welcome her onto our team and look forward to all the fabulous additions and lessons she will provide to our students in our community! We are so excited to watch our Ag in the Classroom program flourish into what we always hoped it would be!
Here is a word from Heather our NEW Ag in the Classroom Coordinator:
"My name is Heather Berbaum and I am so excited to be the new Ag in the Classroom coordinator! A little bit about myself: I grew up on a grain and hog farm in Livingston County and graduated from the Ag Business program at Parkland in 2008. After graduation I worked for several years in sweet corn research at IFSI. In the last few years I have been helping out on my husband's family farm and have been raising our own little farm kids. I live on a farm in rural Champaign with my husband, Jim, and our 3 children. I am looking forward to sharing my love of agriculture to the next generation!
