Supporting Ag Education
The DeWitt County Farm Bureau Foundation was formed to support agriculture education in DeWitt County. To date, more than 60 students have benefited from the Foundation's Scholarship program, which awards funds to students who plan to pursue a degree in agriculture or a related field, including agriculture support roles such as mechanics or surveying.
The DeWitt County Farm Bureau Foundation also annually supports the Ag Day at the Museum event for Fourth-graders, in partnership with the DeWitt County Museum, and provides books, Ag Mags and other educational tools to DeWitt County teachers. What's more, the Foundation also considers support requests for ag leadership programs such as the Illinois Farm Bureau ALOT (Ag Leaders of Tomorrow) program and Illinois Ag Leadership Foundation seminars. Funds are also used to annually support the statewide Ag in the Classroom program, which produces Ag Mags, commodity & livestock posters, calendars and more. With your tax-deductible donation, the DeWitt County Farm Bureau Foundation is helping people in our county learn about and understand agriculture and the rural way of life. |

The Illinois Agricultural Association Foundation funds efforts in support of agriculture and education, with a specific focus on funding Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom, and administering college scholarships.
From time to time, the Foundation also takes on additional cause efforts to support agriculture and farm families. Examples include flood relief drives and fundraising to help produce “The Farm” exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, and the “Grow” exhibit at the Saint Louis Science Center. See below for ways you can help!
